Fallward Planning.

These pictures are from a Fall (obviously!) shoot J and I did about a month and a half ago and the photographer ended up making it look like an editorial, which is cool because then we can imagine that it actually got published in some magazine. We really loved picking the clothes for this shoot because it was very lifestyle, so we could actually wear the outfits exactly the way they're paired in real-life...which is good because you know, look at the clothes...but also really bad because then you want to keep clothes worth hundreds of dollars.

This shoot felt like an adventure...you probably can't tell but this was shot in really tiny room at some guy's apartment with lots of dogs, which not only are we deathly afraid of but also allergic to and also a cat - and you know they're very creepy because they just sit there and stare at you. Let's just say the experience was interesting, but hey the results are totally worth it! Not only did the pictures come out nicely, we got to work with a great team and meet a bunch of really cool people! Always a plus!

Oh and we'll post a full-shot of the dress and a standing shot of the gold-sweater look as soon as we get them.

Crossroads.

Maxi: H&M, Clutch: H&M, Shoes: Steve Madden, Cuff: Forever 21, Flower Headpiece: Self-made.

We submitted this look for a Crossroads Trading Co. competition. These pictures were taken in May, but with the weather the way it is they could've been taken right now even though it's officially Fall. We couldn't put these up earlier because those were the contest rules, but we didn't win...(boo!!) so we can put them up now (yeh!). Until next time.

Fall wishes.

All images via tumblr and Romans 122

I have been super busy these past few weeks. I even keep forgetting to buy a new charger...which hopefully I can handle by tomorrow. Even with all the craziness, I do have time to think about Fall fashion. I can't wait to buy boots for Fall! I already found 3 options, all Dolce Vita. Also I've really been into buying jewelry; I feel like I have so many new pieces. I can't wait to post up all my photos!

This is one of the boots from Dolce Vita that I really want. Aren't they beautiful?!

Sweetheart at Sunset.

             Top: H&M($14), Skirt:Audrey 3+1 from Generation X(SF) ($13), Oxfords: Steve Madden($35),
Jewelry: Forever 21:($4-6)

It's so hot these days that I can't stand leaving my hair down, even for a few photos. I had to keep putting my hair back up every few minutes. The curse of having long black hair...I would chop it all off if I didn't love the length so much. Summer is almost over and I still haven't done half of what I wanted, so it's time to jam pack everything in a month. How's your summer going so far?

A few new friends.

Here are some of the new addictions to my jewelry and shoe collection. I've been eyeing these Steve Madden oxfords for a while, but hesitated to spend over 50 on them. I was browsing their site a few days ago and saw they were on sale; I was ecstatic and bought these cuties immediately.

The Girl.

Jacket: H&M, Dress:H&M, Ring:Forever 21, Heels: Steve Madden

Hola amigos! So I know that I haven't formally introduced 'the girl' yet even though she has been in many posts, so here it is - this is one of my closest friends Joana. I love her; she has the same taste in music, fashion (the heels she's wearing are the same as mine... just in a different color), and well basically everything else. Joana is a remarkable guitar player and I've been asking her for a while now to do a photo shoot for the blog and at long last we did it. It was so cute how nervous she was, but she persevered and the end result was these awesome photos! The title of the post is very significant because The Girl by City and Colour is Joana's favorite song in the whole world and funnily enough it was perfect for the post.

An evening stroll.

Jeans: BR($90), Top: Marshall's($12.99), Shoes: Steve Madden($40), Bag: Nine West Vintage($60), Necklace: New York street vendor($5), Cuff: Forever 21($5), Ring: Forever 21($4), Sunglasses: Prada($90 from Ross)

All three of us went to downtown Campbell this evening to get some gelato from Gelato Calissico. This place had amazing reviews and the honey-lavender and ginger were supposed to be the best. We tried those two as well as the crème brûlée and chocolate cruch - all very satisfying but would have to come back for the first two because no other place has those flavors. A didn't want anything, but she took a bite from each flavor and preferred the crème brûlée because it tasted like vanilla - that's her favorite flavor...I know right! :)
