It's all in the details.

One of my guilty pleasures is looking at clothing that highlights its amazing details. I know weird guilty pleasure, but I can't help it. The fourth picture is my absolute favorite. The meticulousness to create the effect of blood dripping is flabbergasting. I wish I could have seen the creation of the gown. The gown is from Julien FourniƩ Fall 2010 Haute Couture show

Lazy Sunday.

Today has been nice and slow, which for me equals a day dedicated to music. Sitting in the park feeling the Fall breeze with Angus and Julia Stone playing in the background is indescribable, but I'll still try. I'm enchanted with people with raspy vocals, so Julia Stone to me is like an angel sent from heaven. Julia Stone has a voice that sends you to a place bursting with flowers and rainbows where no bad can come to you, which is perfect especially before the dreaded Monday. In 'For You' you can feel the emotion of Julia Stone's voice in each word. It pierces your very essence. I honestly can't listen to this song without my heart aching somewhat. Angus and Julia Stone is a perfect addition to your Fall playlist.

Neon Sunset.

Tank: Forever 21($8), Skirt: Forever 21($16), Heels: Steve Madden($15 @ DSW), Frog Ring: Rachel Roy($8), Meteorite Ring: Forever 21($4)

I’ve been seeing neon everywhere lately and thought I needed to jump on the bandwagon and find myself something neon. As usual Forever 21 comes to the rescue. I didn’t want to go overboard on the colors, so I paired the tank top with my new leather skirt (also a forever 21 purchase). Than I thought it needed a little something something, so I added my blue heels to perfect the look.

Fall awakening.

                                                                       ( Source:Tumblr)

I'm hoping everyday that the weather will cool down, so I can finally wear a sweater. But the weather hates me, so it's still in the 90's... so I'm stuck in a tank top. Even though I can't wear fall clothes I can certainly buy them and prepare. My sweaters will need friends so to keep them company I've been purchasing rings. I can't wait till the weather gets so cold I'm stuck in an over-sized sweater sipping a vanilla latte.

The dying swans.

I was browsing through my regular blogs and was tired of the same old pictures. I wanted to find something more interesting and somehow stumbled upon The dying swans. The photographs are so ethereal and lovely. I can't believe the photos aren't taken by a professional. This is a blog you should definitely bookmark.

Love in a Park.

Photographer: Rummy Makmur, Makeup/Hair: Inna Matthews, Model: Morgan O'Marro, Styling: S/J (www.ruakstyling.com)

These are the pictures from the last photo-shoot J and I styled. We love the looks we did for this shoot, everything was so easy, cozy and comfortable - we wanted to keep the clothes for ourselves! We had already worked with the photographer for this shoot. He's so good and we love his style, he keeps it simple and knows what he wants. We did this shoot in Scotts Valley, in a park, it was so beautiful as was the drive to the location. There were little boys playing nearby and they kept throwing the ball towards us so they could take a look at the model - it was hilarious! As you can see the model, Morgan, is amazing...she's so talented and she just got hired by Hollister Co. - so proud of her. Really the whole team was fantastic because I don't even have words to describe the awesomeness of the MUA, who did the hair as well, she was so good! Her approach to makeup is amazing and she's so passionate about it. We love our work and all the great people we get to meet - really hope we start making money after a few of these are in the portfolio.

I don't know what the plan is but you can share with me.

Shirt: Forever21, Hat: Asos, Skirt: Asos, Boots: Kelsi Dagger, Necklace: Forever 21

I can't believe it's already the first of September! It's so crazy how fast summer goes by...this really sucks because it means no more lazy-stay-inside-and-watch-Friends-all-day days or eating popsicles and fruit only days. I even have to take photos earlier in the day now since the sun is going to start setting early. So many adjustments, I don't know how I'm going to survive. I know this was a wee bit dramatic, but it makes a banal life seem more interesting this way. ;)
