I’m going to open my mind to all these, new found exciting possibilities.

I've been fixing my room up for summer. My room has been really empty and I really wanted to brighten it up. I still want to add a few more things, but I like how it looks so far. Also, I got these polka-dot shorts for my sister and wanted to show them off because they are so cute!

S and I found this awesome looking place made out of twigs in Palo Alto while we went to go pick-up my brother from work.  This place almost looks like an enlarged version of a bird's nest or something.  We had way too much fun taking pictures inside of it and I totally wish this was my house!  Oh and how can I forget the most important thing of all...you see those pictures where there's a little heart on top of my head?  Well, that heart is created by the sun if you stand at a particular spot inside this twighouse (I'll just call it that), this was definitely designed by a genius!    I'm going to take a break from my dearest laptop and try to watch a movie today.  Looking forward to tomorrow because we have another shoot to plan :-)

Lingering Despair.

Dress: Urban Outfitters($15), Boots: Steven Madden($99), Rings: Target & Forever 21($4-$8)

Open eyes see nothing
Life fails her everyday
Every moment is filled with regret
She closes her eyes and sees peace

The stars beneath her skin
still into dark corners
desire, hunger
demand flight
but somehow it asphyxiates
into stillness
grappling between memories
and dreams

With her days spent in despair
her eyes gazing out
with a wretched soul,
she sits still with only a sigh to spare

Pieces of three different poems, by each of us, edited together to create one.

This look was inspired by the photography of Lara Jade - who is a freakin' genius - we only recently discovered her because of someone we know, let's call her JM. If you go on Book II - second photograph, of her portfolio on her website, you will see the resemblance - after that it kind of took it's own life and this is what we have.

The title of this post is the title of A's blog, it seemed fitting for this post so we used it.
