The Flower Princess.
She received everything they thought she wanted.
She always wanted more but never dared to ask.
Breathing, but not living.
She always wanted more but never dared to ask.
Breathing, but not living.
Enough was enough.
Life is meant to be lived not watched.
She packed her life in her magic chiffon.
Running from everything that held her down.
She was ready to embark on her journey.

Strawberry fields, but not really.
That field is right next to this road, we just parked on the side and took the pictures while the sun was setting.

I've been waiting for you
The long awaited package...
Don't you love the color?!
Today I came home from school hoping my package from Urban had arrived, unfortunately it hadn't...until around 7 when I decided to check the status of where my package was. When I looked on UPS.com, it said it was on my doorstep. So, I ran outside and found the poor package in the cold. I grabbed it immediately and ran inside. I got my camera and decided I had to record this momentous occasion. Let me introduce you to the two newest members to my family, my beautiful lilac wallet/ cellphone carrier and the most comfortable and go with anything booties.

A stroll in the park.

The Lady in the Polka Dot Dress.
When A saw this dress, she had to have it immediately. It's so cute and reminiscent of the 50s, so for this shoot we decided to play that up and style it with red heels and pearls....and than it all just ended up leading to a picnic with red velvet cupcakes.
The colors in this shoot were very bright, so we had to post a picture with the original colors. The title of this song by the A.K.A.S(Are Everywhere) seemed apt for this look, even though the subject of the song is anything but red velvet cupcakes.

For Annabelle
This shoot uses all Indian silks and jewelry as well as shoes. Everything except the skirt, which was from BCBG for $20, is from India. It showcases Indian craftsmanship and fabrics. Oh and the green wall is from J's room, which is still unfinished...we're thinking of doing a contemporary hotel-inspired room, should be fun!
