J's life via Instagram.

We're all pretty big foodies, so here's a food appreciation post courtesy of J's iPhone.

1. J's mom's chole bhature.
2. Clam chowder from Hog Island Oyster Co. in San Francisco. S and J finally had it last week and it was spectacular.
3. Seviyaan made by J's mom.
4. Baked tilapia with quinoa, spinach, strawberry and cucumber salad dressed with balsamic vinaigrette, J's creation.
5. Best latte ever from Cafe Madeleine in San Francisco, with S's chocolate art.
6. Zucchini bread with cranberries made by J using zucchinis from her garden.

A summer of eating.

This summer has endowed me with so much good food. Joana and I tried The Railroad Cafe this week. I ordered a chicken sandwich on sourdough which was delectable. Joana ordered Swedish pancakes, which she swears were some of the best she's ever had in her life. For desert we ordered olallieberry crumble and chocolate cake. It was our first time trying olallieberries, so it was pretty exciting!

Birthday wishes.

It was my birthday this past Friday! I was so excited that I decided to celebrate it a few times this week. I'm so glad my birthday is in the Summer, so I don't have to worry about school.

Birthdays and Sweet Things.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, but it has been raining like crazy here! It just stopped raining yesterday and we did a shoot today... so until we post those pictures up, here are some shots I took when I was bored while doing my homework. Yes, those are Sprinkles cupcakes! This week was J's birthday, so she and S went to Sprinkles to celebrate at the bakery with the most delicious red velvet cupcakes. These cupcakes are actually from when I went a few days ago for my uncle's birthday and took pictures for funsies! :)

S here! I'm just adding to the post with pictures of J's cake - which is the most amazing, light cake that has all these great fresh fruits in it. She has it every year and it's a perfect summer cake. Although this year her birthday felt more like January than May...but the tradition continues! And, Summer seems to have come back to us...hopefully it'll get hot enough for the beach soon!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Christmas has got to be our favorite holiday of the year! The food, the colors and the feeling you get is priceless.  Hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas!

P.S. I (A) assembled the Gingerbread village with my sister, doesn't it look awesome?! I ate so much candy and of course am now suffering from a sugar-coma. Totally worth it!
