Hoping and wishing.

Winter break has started which means me on tumblr drooling over amazing pieces I wish were in my closet. Isn't the bright pink dress at the end to die for?!

Blue jeans.

 

I wanted to do a look with jeans since it's been a little while. We stopped by an empty lot which had a few trucks and I though it'd be fun if we took pictures with them. If I knew we were going to be taking pictures with the trucks, I would've tried to reenact one of my favorite Elle shoots with Erin Wasson, which was taken at a truck stop. We got a lot of looks from people passing by and not to mention people slowing down their cars. It's like they've never seen two girls climbing on trucks and taking photos. ;)

I have been searching far and wide, for over a year now, for a fabulous gold skirt. I was hopelessly doomed to never find the gold skirt (at least one in my price range). However, out of nowhere this week my hunt finally came to an end when I spotted this little number at Forever 21 (seriously you've got to love Forever 21, sometimes they totally know what you want and especially at the price you want).  Just warning you now but you will be seeing this skirt quite often.

I wanted to try a different location, so me and my little sis went scouring all over our little town to find one and we finally found this area on the outskirts of town. It was actually illegal to be hanging out in this area, but I felt rebellious and dared to defy the law. I really wished it wasn't so windy because my hair kept coming out and looking like crap in so many shots. All in all,  I really liked how the pictures came out and this place turned out to be successful! This week is going to be a little hectic because it's my birthday week! I am usually not enthusiastic about my birthday, but this year I feel the need to celebrate. :)
