One of my favorite past times is finding to-die-for bakeries. This sadly is not as easy as it sounds because while you would assume that they're in every city - they're not. Also, they are in cities that are located miles and miles away from me. Nothing Bundt Cakes is pretty far from me, but I was going to visit my friend and it was located on the way. Which was perfect! I got three flavors - carrot, lemon, and chocolate chip. The lemon was divine. I don't think I've ever had a better lemon cake in my life. I still dream of it whenever my stomach aches for something sweet. I took a bite of the chocolate chip and realized it was for my little sister. I say this because she is the fanatic in our family for anything that tastes like sugar on crack. I don't like carrot cake, but my friend Semhar loves it and that's why I got it. They make theirs with pineapple and applesauce which is unusual for carrot cake. But Semhar's inability to form words after her first bite made me think that it must have been pretty damn good. I didn't buy a red velvet cake, but there were free samples. Thank god I got to taste it because I am a red velvet maniac. I would've bought it but after I took a bite of the sample I realized it wasn't that great. Sprinkles is still number one in my book...great now I'm going to be thinking that. I would strongly recommend any people in the Bay Area to stop by here and grab yourself a cake and also you know check out Sprinkles as well.
