Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days Of Summer.

Images via tumblr and gamiori.com

Ahh, Spring is finally here and I am just ecstatic because it means Summer is just around the corner. Even though I do love Spring, I love Summer a lot more. Summer means long days at the beach wearing sheer tops, shorts, lace dresses and beautiful maxis and who doesn't love that. Hopefully the weather in Spring stays in the 80s, like today, so I can go to the beach now and don't have to wait until May. Honestly, I talk about Summer right after it's over and than keep on talking about it until it comes back. Some of my best memories are of Summer with friends, family, beaches, barbeques and road-trips. =) I took last Summer for granted and took classes for the Summer quarter and worked as well, but I vowed this year would be different. I plan to make this one the best one yet. Who else is excited for summer?

Butterfly Net.

After a week of horrible weather and rain, the sun came out and A decided it was the perfect opportunity to go catch some rare blue butterflies. She had heard a fable that if you caught four of these butterflies you were granted one wish. She drove down to the field where some sightings were reported. She got there and saw the majestic creatures. She tried to catch them, but missed purposely every time. She realized she couldn't catch the butterflies for her own gain, she had to let them be free.

So, she began to frolic and play with them. Little did A know, that rare blue butterflies were very intelligent and they really liked her presence and began to follow her. A noticed this and tested if they would listen to her if she commanded them to fly somewhere... and they did! She was so excited! She was now the rare blue butterfly queen.

Hope you enjoyed the story, sometimes I feel like our stories sound like we made them up when we were high...but we weren't, say no to drugs kids! This story is all A and while she wasn't actually high when writing this, we were so tired today that if you saw either one of us you might think that we were. This shoot was fun because we finally found a spot with a bunch of flowers and the sun was shining.

When we got there, we couldn't find a legitimate parking space, so we ended up parking in a no-trespassing zone because no one was there. This was on a college campus and it was deserted - because of Spring Break. We were there for maybe two minutes and we found out that it wasn't deserted after all, a security guard came and asked us what we were doing. We told him that we just wanted to take pictures of the pretty flowers while making sweet innocent faces at him and trying to look harmless - not that we aren't of course. :) We said we just needed ten minutes, so he talked to his supervisor and agreed and said he would come back in ten. We took these pictures as fast  as possible and got out of there before the guard came back.

I want you.

This post is dedicated to the immense love we have for jewelry because WOW do we love it. We fawn over spiked rings, animal carved cuffs, and anything that sparkles. If we had the money, we would be on sites like Bonadrag or Luv AJ buying up all the incredibly made rings and insane necklaces that go on for days. I've added so many things from these sites on my wish list; it's getting a little depressing since my lists are now 4 to 5 pages long, but I'm a dreamer =).

Even with our lack of jewelry we manage pretty well. We find pretty amazing deals and I'm proud to say our collection has grown pretty large - over 30 rings! We'll post up pictures once we have proper storage for everything...because right now they are in shoe boxes, being hauled around from one shoot location to the next (it makes us feel like real stylists - we are, we just don't get paid yet!) So today, I've been on the computer pretty much all day and I wanted to share some of the images that I'm stuck on.

P.S. I know the last two are not jewelry shots, but I've been thinking of dying my hair and can't decide on a color; I'm between pink and blue. What do you think?

It has been raining non-stop for the past two days, so we haven't been able to do any photo-shoots sadly. I cannot wait until it stops raining, so we can go about our daily lives! So, for today we decided to post up a look that we wish we could have, but can't because we're pretty broke...but hey dreaming never hurt anybody! Isn't all the jewelry to die for? I would give up chocolate if I could get that whole outfit somehow...life is never encumbered by dreams and wishes my friends, although it seems like it very much sometimes.

Waking in Winter.

I can taste the tin of the sky --- the real tin thing.
Winter dawn is the color of metal,
The trees stiffen into place like burnt nerves.
All night I have dreamed of destruction, annihilations ---
An assembly-line of cut throats, and you and I
Inching off in the gray Chevrolet, drinking the green
Poison of stilled lawns, the little clapboard gravestones,
Noiseless, on rubber wheels, on the way to the sea resort.

How the balconies echoed! How the sun lit up
The skulls, the unbuckled bones facing the view!
Space! Space! The bed linen was giving out entirely.
Cot legs melted in terrible attitudes, and the nurses ---
Each nurse patched her soul to a wound and disappeared.
The deathly guests had not been satisfied
With the rooms, or the smiles, or the beautiful rubber plants,
Or the sea, Hushing their peeled sense like Old Mother Morphia

Kelsi Dagger.

If you remember the Dolce Vita  boots in brown...well those are amazing, but I really wanted a pair in black. But whenever I saw something similar, it would just be so expensive or the toe wouldn't be right or the heel was off...but I was on Piperlime and I saw this pair and it was perfect. They recently had a sale and I ended up getting these for $35 with tax! We just did a photo-shoot with them, so we'll be putting those pictures up soon.
